Now you can have a chance at owning a completely custom, made-to-measure kilt for only $5.00! By participating in this raffle, you are not only helping the Scottish Tartans Museum, you are getting a chance to win an eight yard knife pleated kilt hand tailored by master kilt maker Barbara Tewksbury, author of The Art of Kiltmaking. This kilt will be individually made to your measurements, in any heavy, medium or light weight stock tartan available from Lochcarron, House of Edgar, D. C. Dalgliesh or Strathmore woolen mills.
You select the tartan. You provide the measurements. And she'll make the kilt just for you! Her kilts normally sell for over $500 or more (depending on tartan choice), so this is your chance to get an heirloom garment at a real bargain.
Plus, Barb Tewksbury is generously waiving her standard tailoring fee for this kilt, so even more of the funds raised by this raffle go directly to support the Museum!
The drawing will be held on December 23, 2010 before the museum closes for the Christmas holiday. What a wonderful Christmas gift to discover you have won an expertly crafted custom made kilt! You do not need to be present to win. You may enter as many times as you like. Purchase your tickets at the Scottish Tartans Museum, or right here on line using the form below. (We will contact you within 24 hours - 48 on weekends - to ask how you would prefer to pay for your tickets). Thank you for your support of our museum!
